Kelsey was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.  She gave her heart to Jesus at age 12 through camp ministry. After graduating high school she pursued her bachelor of education degree from the University of Regina, and also completed one year at Millar College of the Bible in Pambrun, Saskatchewan. Kelsey met her future husband John shortly before attending Bible college, and they were married in 2010.  While living in Canada they had their four children, Halle, Gavin, Lily and Oskar, before moving back to John’s hometown, Joliet, MT, in 2021.

 

Kelsey and her husband have always felt strongly about serving in the church, and have done so in a variety of capacities over the years including worship ministry, Jr. and Sr. youth, children’s ministry, and senior’s ministry.

 

After moving to MT, Kelsey and her family started attending Grace Bible Church and immediately sought a place to serve. She and John began to serve on the worship team, and Kelsey also in the kids’ ministry. Over the next few years the Lord brought together her experience in education, her desire to see children knowing and loving God and the Bible, and the wise counsel and mentorship from her previous church to ignite a particular passion for children’s ministry.  Kelsey came on staff at GBC in August of 2024.
