Financial Need and Progress
 
 A review, update, and future of the GBC Building Program as of the end of March 2017.
 
Review:
We began our building program in October 2014 with the goal of raising $1.8 million for our new facility. This includes a fundraising campaign plus liquidating our existing debt free assets (main & annex facilities).
We will plan for 3 – 3 year pledge campaigns (9 years total) to complete the project.
The goal is to raise $600,000 over a 36 month period, sell our assets, and begin the building process.
We conducted a pledge drive complete with a Commitment Feast which resulted in a financial commitment of $450,000 through 36 months over and above the regular Annual Budget!
 
Update:
We are very happy and excited to report that through the first 2 ½ years (30 months) the Lord has used you and others to bless the GBC Building Program with $403,250!
That projects to be $483,900 after our first 3 year campaign! More than $30,000 over what was pledged!
With the projected $483,900 plus the $100,000 saved pre-building campaign, we could be at $583,900.
Awesome! God is so good!! And thanks to you for your faithfulness.
 
Upcoming:
At the Annual Meeting on April 30, 2017 there will be a building program update complete with a Virtual Tour video of the new facility.
Encourage maintaining our momentum and increase participation to invest in the only things that last…the Kingdom of God and His people.
Anticipating the sale of our main building. It is now listed with Hamwey Realty.
Fall 2017 there will be a Building Commitment Feast & Rally to kickoff the 2nd – 3 year leg of our fundraising campaign
 
Goal:
The goal is to have $1,000,000.00 of revenue in hand (raised monies plus sale of main and annex buildings) to dig a hole and start the project. Keep on!
