The Upward Basketball and Cheerleading program is a great opportunity for kids to learn the game of basketball or the basics of cheerleading while growing in their faith in Jesus Christ. Upward provides an encouraging experience with coaches who love and respect kids. In Upward, every child receives equal playing time, every child learns, and every child is a winner.
Upward is for kids in K-6th grade. There will be one practice during the week with a game on Sunday afternoon.
Cost is $55 per child. The cost includes a reversible Upward jersey for basketball and an Upward top and skort for cheerleading, along with other prizes and gear. Partial scholarships are available--please call the church for more information. Upward also offers a full scholarship to any child with a parent or legal guardian who is deployed in the military oversease.
